About Me
My name is Chris Everett, former quarterback of the New Orleans Saints and Purdue University. After constant harassment by Jim Rome and the San Fransisco 49'ers DEEFense Tim, I've decided to be strong and embrace my new name. I know this has STUNNED every one of my fans; moreso than University of Georgia's (UGA's) defense was when Vandy took the lead in 2013. Since retiring from the NFL in 1997, I have moved on to complete my Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at Pepperdine University. In my spare time I research topics in reverse engineering, binary analysis, and machine learning. Instead of dominating the NFL via Super Bowl performances, I have decided to apply data visualization and machine learning concepts to dominate a different kind of league: Yahoo Fantasy Football.
Purpose
I created this site to document my cybersecurity portolio, projects, and other learning material. Furthermore, I believe keeping an audience engaged throughout the learning process (notably through strategically placed humor) has profound effects on retention. There is an astounding amount of cybersecurity material through certification programs, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges, information assurance documents, and even business analytics that most people new to the field have no idea where to start. It always helps to have someone on the inside. My intent is to simplify the process as much as possible. And of course my ultimate goal is to beat Todd Markakis in Fantasy Football.
